A proposal to remember: P+C

Every love story is unique, but some proposals truly feel like something out of a movie. P reached out to me with a plan that was so thoughtful and detailed, I knew right away it was going to be special.

It all started when one of their friends found me on Instagram and sent me a message asking if I’d be available to capture the big moment. From there, P and I connected directly, and I could immediately tell how much this proposal meant to him. He had the entire day mapped out: every detail, every step, every little clue.

The proposal took place at a park that held so much meaning for C. It was a place she grew up going to with her family, a spot filled with memories and sentiment. P wanted it to be perfect! not just a surprise, but a moment tied to her roots, her joy, and her story.

When they arrived at the park, they first sat down at a table right next to me to enjoy their lunch before the big question. I was trying to keep cool and blend in, all while knowing what was about to unfold. And as if the universe wanted to add a little twist, in a nearby corner another photographer showed up with a couple who had just gotten engaged. Later, I found out that C had said that “one day that would be them”… she just needed P to ask the big question!

Before the moment, P walked me through the plan: where they would stand, where I should be waiting, and even the small signals he would give to let me know “it’s time.” I tucked myself behind a tree, doing my best to look casual while keeping a lookout for the signs P sent me earlier

And then it happened. P dropped to one knee, and the world seemed to pause. My camera clicked away while my heart was practically bursting behind the lens. It was pure magic! the surprise on her face, the love in his eyes, and the joy that radiated between them.

Moments like these are why I do what I do. Being trusted to capture a memory that will last a lifetime is the greatest honor, and P + C’s proposal was one I’ll never forget.
